Las Madres Ranch is a working cattle ranch. The ranch is located in the northeastern part of New Mexico, 20 miles southwest of Santa Rosa. The ranch has a small band of broodmares and our goal is to raise a versatile ranch horse. The stallions are used on the ranch, they have exceptional dispositions, color, confirmation and cow sense. We run them with the geldings when not in breeding season. Bill rides his mares and looks for those qualities before placing them in the broodmare band, all mares are pasture bred and foal outside.
